Terms of sale

These terms apply to orders placed with Collagen SA through collagensa.co.za. Collagen SA sells wholesale, to businesses that buy for resale or manufacturing. By submitting an order you confirm you are ordering on behalf of a business and accept these terms.

1. Prices

Prices are in South African rand, per 15kg bag, and exclude delivery. Collagen SA is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. Volume pricing is worked out per product, based on the number of bags of that product in your order. If a price on the site is wrong because of an error, we will tell you before you pay and you may cancel the order.

2. Placing an order

Submitting an order on the site is a request to buy. We accept it by sending you a proforma invoice. If we cannot supply any part of your order, we will tell you and will not invoice for that part.

3. Payment

Your proforma invoice shows the order total including delivery. Payment is by EFT to the bank account on the invoice, and your order is dispatched once payment reflects in our account. We never ask for card details on this site. If you receive a request to pay into a different bank account, confirm it with us at trade@collagensa.co.za before paying.

4. Delivery

Delivery is quoted per order on your proforma invoice, based on the number of bags and the delivery address. Delivery times given are estimates. Please check your order when it arrives and report any damage or shortage to us as soon as possible, with photos, so we can resolve it with you and the courier.

5. Product information and your products

Product descriptions on this site describe the bulk ingredient as supplied. Products are supplied unbranded. If you repackage, label or sell them, you are responsible for making sure your products, labels and any claims you make comply with South African law.

6. Returns

Because these are bulk food ingredients, opened bags cannot be returned unless the product is faulty. If you believe a product is faulty, contact us with your order number and we will work with you to resolve it.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for the goods concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Personal information

We handle the details you give us as described in our privacy policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
